This concert was filmed at London's Royal Festival Hall on the southbank to celebrate the life and work of legendary composer and writer Don Black. His long career was discussed on an interview area to the side of the stage they shared with the BBC Concert Orchestra and vocals provided by a host of guests artistes who sang their way through his back catalogue. A very quick turnaround for this show was required with load in only 12 hours before the concert broadcast record began.
